Amazon Account Management

Catalogue, pricing, advertising, account health, settlements and reimbursements on Amazon India — run by an operator who has built a brand on this marketplace, not a junior working from a checklist.

Sound familiar?

  • Account health warnings and listing suppressions nobody is watching.
  • Ad spend rising while contribution margin falls.
  • FBA reimbursements and fee errors going unclaimed month after month.

Quick answer

Steps Ecommerce provides end-to-end Amazon India seller account management: registration and GST setup, catalogue and A+ content, Sponsored Ads, returns, account health and settlement reconciliation — run as one system by an operator who has scaled an Amazon account of their own.

What actually breaks on an Amazon account.

Amazon is the deepest marketplace in India and the least forgiving. Most accounts we take over are not failing because nobody is working on them — they are failing because the work is spread across people who each see one screen of it. These are the four places we find the damage.

Account health, watched before it becomes a suspension
Policy warnings, late dispatch rate, order defect rate and valid tracking rate move slowly and then all at once. By the time a suspension email arrives the cause is usually six weeks old. We watch the metrics weekly and fix the cause, because reinstatement is far more expensive than prevention.
The catalogue fighting itself
Duplicate ASINs, variations that never merged, listings suppressed for an image or attribute nobody noticed, and stranded inventory sitting in a fulfilment centre earning storage fees and no sales. Every one of these is invisible on the sales chart and obvious in the catalogue report.
Fees charged against the wrong slab
Referral fees are set by category and weight handling fees by measured dimensions. When a product is categorised loosely or measured generously, you pay the difference on every unit sold, indefinitely. This is quiet, systematic, and reclaimable — which is why the reconciliation work sits next to this one.
Inventory planning treated as a warehouse problem
Restock limits, IPI, and the lead time between a purchase order and a receivable unit decide what you can sell in a season. Running out during a sale event costs the rank you spent months building, and rank is harder to buy back than stock.

We run these as one account, not four workstreams — because the failures interact. A suppressed listing distorts the ad data, the ad data justifies the wrong restock, and the restock funds the storage fee.

Start with the diagnosis

Find the constraint first. Then decide what to fix.

No package pitch before we understand the account. The diagnosis shows you the evidence — the scope comes after, in writing.
